The European Asian Economics, Finance, Econometrics and Accounting Association (http://aeefa.unipi.gr) is organizing the 4th International Conference AEEFA Meetings. The Conference will be held in Penang Island (Malaysia), September 3-6, 2014. The conference venue is the Eastern & Oriental Hotel (5-star) (http://www.eohotels.com/), while rooms for the conference will be available at the Bayview Hotel Gerogetown Penang (4-star) (http://bayview-hotel-georgetown.h-rez.com/index.htm?lbl=ggl-en) at very good prices.
There will be a Plenary Session, with a guest who will be announced delivering the Keynote Speech.
Suggestions for Organized Sessions are encouraged. The organizer of a session receives a 50% discount in registration fees, while the participants in that session a 20% discount. Organized Sessions are submitted to the conference organizers as a complete package. A proposal of an Organized Session must include the following information:
- Title of the session, name and affiliation of the session organizer, name and affiliation of the person who will chair the session (if different than the organizer).
- Titles of the papers (3-4 papers), name, affiliation and contact information of the authors.
The following journals will accept papers presented at the conference: International Journal of Economic Research, International Journal of Financial Studies and the International Journal of Economic Issues. All three journals are refereed journals and are indexed by the Cabell’s Directory and the EconLit databases.
All submitted papers will be considered for publication. The final decision about the papers to be published will be subject to a process of anonymous evaluation.
Participants are responsible for taking care of their own hotel accommodation. The Association is not involved in any hotel reservation activity.
All topics in the areas of Economics, Finance, Accounting and Econometrics are welcome. Moreover, papers that are dealing with the global financial crisis are mostly welcome.

The potential participants will be informed about the status of their submission by March 31st, 2014. The preliminary program of the conference will be available by April 30th, 2014.
Early Bird Registration: April 1, 2014-May 31, 2014: 150 Euros or 180 USD
Late registration: June 1, 2014-June 30, 2014: 250 Euros or 300 USD
On the spot registration will not be available. Those who fail to be registered by June 30th, 2014 their name will not appear on the program of the conference.
