The Canadian Econometrics Study Group (CESG) invites the submission of papers for the the 30th CESG conference to be held in Waterloo, ON, October 18-20, 2013. The conference will be hosted by the Department of Economics, University of Waterloo. The conference theme is estimation and inference with instrumental variables, generalized method of moments and generalized empirical likelihood. The invited speakers for this meeting are Joel Horowitz (Northwestern University) and Yuichi Kitamura (Yale University). Submissions dealing with new research in GMM, GEL and IV are encouraged, but submissions in any area of theoretical or applied econometrics will be considered.
Prospective contributors are invited to submit papers by April 30, 2013, to cesg@uwaterloo.ca. Notification of acceptance or rejection of submissions will be made by May 30, 2013. Only completed papers (in pdf form) will be considered. Submissions will be considered for regular panel sessions and also for a poster session.
There may be limited support for the travel expenses of graduate students who wish to attend; however, all attendees are expected to register beforehand. Please contact cesg@uwaterloo.ca for more details.
