Introduction and a short overview: Of the OJO methodological fora that took place in March, April and May 2015 (Prof. Christiane Timmerman – CeMIS/University of Antwerp)
3 workshops on the following topics: Online research (chair: Prof. Leen D’Haenens – University of Leuven), Challenges of multi-sited research (chair: Prof. Valentina Mazzucato – University of Maastricht), and Research on the edge (conflict areas, terrorism, irregular migration, criminal networks, etc.) (chair: Dr. Michael Collyer – University of Sussex)
Panel discussion with 4 experts: Prof. Godfried Engbersen (Erasmus University Rotterdam – tbc) and the 3 experts who have lead the 3 workshops.
Closure of the conference: (Prof. Dirk Vanheule – University of Antwerp)

The deadline of this call is 15 August 2015. The PhD student is requested to submit an abstract of 300 words (on his/her research and the link to one of the above mentioned topics) to An Daems ([email protected]). CeMIS will inform each candidate no later than 7 September 2015 on whether or not he/she has been selected to give a presentation during the conference.
